Two new species of Cyperus (Cyperaceae) from Mexico and Venezuela

Con base en el estudio de muestras de herbario, Cyperus rosattii se describe como nueva especie de Venezuela. Conocida por una sola recolección de las tierras bajas del río Orinoco, parece estar más estrechamente relacionada con Cyperus swartzii y C. aggregatus. De igual manera, se describe la especie nueva Cyperus gonzaleziae del oriente de México (región costera de Veracruz), que parece estar más estrechamente relacionado con C. pallidicolor y C. regiomontanus.
