Morphology and identification of the seedlings of selected woody/semi-woody species of dicotyledons sensu lato growing wild in South Florida (U.S.A.). Part I. Species with epigeal germination

Describimos y comparamos las plántulas de 70 especies de árboles, arbustos y enredaderas leñosas/semi-leñosas de dicotiledóneas sensu lato que tienen germinación epígea y que crecen silvestres en el sur de Florida. Para cada especie, caracterizamos los rasgos macroscópicos del hipocótilo, los cotiledones, los entrenudos supracotiledóneos y las hojas supracotiledóneas, así como la presencia o ausencia de los tipos y distribución de los tricomas. Concluimos con una clave taxonómica para identificar las plántulas de todas las especies consideradas. De las especies investigadas cincuenta y nueve y 11 respectivamente son nativas y exóticas en Florida.
